This year we've been consulting on stage design for the ESports World Cup, one of the biggest dates on the gaming calendar, working closely with the production team to help shape a show built to match the scale of the competition itself. Our role has extended beyond the stage too: we've also been consulting on lighting design and screen content, lending our expertise to help the team build the same sense of occasion for players and fans alike.
Partway through planning, the event moved late from Riyadh to Paris, a shift that would test any production. We worked closely with the teams through the change, consulting on how best to adapt plans quickly without losing any of the ambition behind the original vision, so the show stays every bit as spectacular in its new home.
It's been a fast-moving, collaborative project, and one we've enjoyed being part of.
