Meet the Team

Rudi is the founding director of Vagabond Production Design. Over two decades, he has built a studio that stays deliberately lean – scaling up or down to match each project without carrying unnecessary overhead. His career has taken him around the world working with major production companies and channels in the UK and globally, including James Corden Late Late Show (CBS), Sports Personality Award Show, Beijing (CCTV), The Jonathon Ross Show (ITV) and Top Gear (BBC). That agility means clients get senior creative leadership on every project, whatever the scale. His driving interest is to always push set design forward, exploring new innovations and implementation methods, whilst working with new and experimental materials.

Before joining Vagabond at its inception, Paul worked alongside many of the finest set designers in a career spanning 25 years. His creative eye is crucial throughout the entire design process, but his skills truly come into their own at the construction phase. Paul manages the finer details of each brief with the kind of hands-on ownership that only a nimble, close-knit team can offer – taking responsibility from technical direction through to coordinating the production team and transforming a design into reality.
