People Person

People Person is a new quiz show format built around James Acaster, and we wanted the set to feel like it belonged to him rather than just hosted him. Instead of the usual studio sheen, we set out to design a space with genuine personality, somewhere that looks and feels like James's home, quirks, character and all, so the format announces itself as something different from the moment it's on screen.

Audience interaction sits right at the centre of the show, so the design had to work as hard for the crowd as it does for the host. We shaped the space to keep the audience close to the action, part of the room rather than spectators at the edge of it, helping fuel the energy that runs right through every episode.

It's a set built to match a genuinely new idea in the genre, warm, distinctive and unmistakably James's, and we've loved having the chance to help bring that vision to life.
